[194] He was dwelling at Sāvatthī… in the (Jeta's) park.
Now on that occasion the Venerable Tissa, the son of the Blessed One's paternal aunt, was informing a number of bhikkhus thus: "Friends, my body seems as if it were drugged; the directions do not appear clear to me; the teachings (dhammā) do not spring to mind for me; dullness and drowsiness (thīna-middha) persist obsessing my mind (citta); I lead the holy life without delight; and I have doubt (vicikicchā) about the teachings."
