[337] Sāvatthī. "Bhikkhus, you should abandon desire and lust (chandarāga) for whatever is impermanent. And what, bhikkhus, is impermanent? Form (rūpa), bhikkhus, is impermanent; you should abandon desire and lust for it. Feeling (vedanā) is impermanent … Perception … Volitional formations … Consciousness is impermanent; you should abandon desire and lust for it. Bhikkhus, you should abandon desire and lust for whatever is impermanent."
