[439] At Sāvatthī. "Bhikkhus, when what exists, by clinging to what, by adhering to what, does such a view (diṭṭhi) arise: 'The soul (jīva) is one thing, the body (sarīra) another'?" "Venerable sir, our teachings are rooted in the Blessed One … " … "… is fixed in destiny, with full awakening as his destination."
