[75] The Blessed One said: "Good, good, bhikkhu! It is good that you understand in detail the meaning of what was spoken by me in brief. If, bhikkhu, one has an underlying tendency toward form (rūpa), one is reckoned in terms of it. If toward feeling (vedanā) … If toward perception (saññā) … If toward volitional formations (saṅkhārā) … If one has an underlying tendency toward consciousness (viññāṇa), one is reckoned in terms of it. If, bhikkhu, one has no underlying tendency toward form, one is not reckoned in terms of it. If toward feeling … If toward perception … If toward volitional formations … If one has no underlying tendency toward consciousness, one is not reckoned in terms of it. It is in this way, bhikkhu, that the meaning of what was spoken by me in brief should be seen in detail."
