Samudarasutta

[288] "One in whom lust (rāga), hatred, and ignorance have faded away has crossed this ocean with its seizing monsters and its demons, with its fearful waves, so very hard to cross. Gone beyond ties, an abandoner of death, without acquisitions (nirūpadhi), he has abandoned suffering (dukkha) so that there is no renewed existence. Gone out, he does not come within measure; he has confounded the King of Death — so I say." The Second Sutta is ended. Bāḷisika Sutta
