[360] Concentrated (samāhito), clearly comprehending, and mindful, the disciple of the Buddha understands feelings (vedanā) and the origin of feelings, and where these cease, and the path leading to their destruction. With the destruction of feelings, a bhikkhu, free from hunger (nicchāto), has attained final Nibbāna (parinibbuto). The first.
