[428] When this was said, Moḷiyasīvaka the wanderer (paribbājaka) said to the Blessed One: "Excellent, Master Gotama! Excellent, Master Gotama! Let Master Gotama remember me as a lay follower (upāsaka) who has gone for refuge (saraṇa) from this day forth, for as long as life lasts."
