[433] And what, bhikkhus, are the five feelings (vedanā)? The pleasure faculty (sukhindriya), the pain faculty (dukkhindriya), the joy faculty (somanassindriya), the displeasure faculty (domanassindriya), and the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya). These, bhikkhus, are called the five feelings.
