[492] Bhikkhus, it is not by reason of the power of beauty (rūpabala), or by reason of the power of wealth (bhogabala), or by reason of the power of relatives (ñātibala), or by reason of the power of children (puttabala), that a woman (mātugāma), with the breakup of the body, after death, is reborn in a good destination, in a heavenly world. It is by reason of the power of virtue (sīlabala), bhikkhus, that a woman, with the breakup of the body, after death, is reborn in a good destination, in a heavenly world. These, bhikkhus, are the five powers of a woman.
