[75] "'The world, the world' (loko), venerable sir, it is said. In what way, venerable sir, might there be the world or the designation of a world (lokapaññatti)?"
"Where, Samiddhi, there is the eye, there are forms, there is eye-consciousness, and there are phenomena cognizable by eye-consciousness — there the world exists, or the designation of a world. … There is the tongue … There is the mind, there are mental phenomena (dhammā), there is mind-consciousness, and there are phenomena cognizable by mind-consciousness — there the world exists, or the designation of a world."
