[761] "It is wonderful, venerable sir! It is marvellous, venerable sir! How the meaning of the Teacher and the meaning of the female disciple (sāvikā) coincide, agree, and do not diverge — meaning with meaning, phrasing with phrasing — that is, in regard to the chief point (aggapada). On one occasion, venerable sir, I approached the bhikkhunī Khemā and questioned her about this matter. That noble lady too answered me on this matter in these very terms and in these very phrases, just as the Blessed One has. It is wonderful, venerable sir! It is marvellous, venerable sir! How the meaning of the Teacher and the meaning of the female disciple coincide, agree, and do not diverge — meaning with meaning, phrasing with phrasing — that is, in regard to the chief point. And now, venerable sir, we must go; we are busy and have much to do."

Then King Pasenadi of Kosala, having delighted in and rejoiced at the Blessed One's statement, rose from his seat, paid homage to the Blessed One, circumambulated him keeping his right side towards him, and departed.
