[101] "And what, bhikkhus, are the fruits of asceticism (sāmaññaphalāni)? The fruit of stream-entry (sotāpattiphala), the fruit of once-returning (sakadāgāmiphala), the fruit of non-returning (anāgāmiphala), and the fruit of arahantship (arahattaphala). These, bhikkhus, are called the fruits of asceticism."
