[124] "… It is for the sake of realizing the fruit of true knowledge (vijjā) and liberation (vimutti), friends, that the holy life (brahmacariya) is lived under the Blessed One." … End of the Sixth Sutta. Ñāṇadassana Sutta The holy life is lived for the sake of knowledge and vision (ñāṇadassana).
