[1289] "And, friends (āvuso), it is because these four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna) have been developed and cultivated that I understand the minds (citta) of other beings, of other persons, having encompassed them with my own mind: a mind with lust (sarāga) I understand as 'a mind with lust' … a liberated mind I understand as 'a liberated mind.'"
