[1673] Then the Blessed One uttered this inspired utterance: "Koṇḍañña has indeed understood! Koṇḍañña has indeed understood!" Thus it was that the Venerable Koṇḍañña acquired the name "Aññākoṇḍañña" ("Koṇḍañña Who Has Understood").
