Upakkilesasutta

[472] Silver (sajjhu), bhikkhus, is a corruption (upakkilesa) of gold (jātarūpa); gold corrupted by that corruption is neither malleable nor workable nor radiant, but is brittle, and does not lend itself properly to being worked.
