[480] The equanimity (upekkhā) factor of awakening (bojjhaṅga), bhikkhus, is not an obstruction, not a hindrance (nīvaraṇa), not a corruption of the mind; developed and cultivated, it leads to the realization of the fruit of true knowledge and liberation (vijjāvimutti).
