[565] Bhikkhus, whatever concentration (samādhi) is accompanied by thought (vitakka) and examination (vicāra), that too is the concentration factor of awakening (samādhisambojjhaṅga); whatever concentration is without thought and examination, that too is the concentration factor of awakening. Thus it is that 'the concentration factor of awakening' comes up in the summary statement (uddesa). By this method of exposition, this too becomes twofold.
