[601] Setting at Sāvatthī. Then the brahmin Sagārava¹ approached the Blessed One; having approached, he exchanged greetings with the Blessed One, and when the courteous and amiable talk was concluded, he sat down to one side. Seated to one side, the brahmin Sagārava said this to the Blessed One: ¹ The Burmese (M.) and European (Yu.) editions read "Saṅgārava"; so too below.
