[742] Bhikkhus, those Arahants, Perfectly Enlightened Ones, who existed in the past age — those Blessed Ones too had just such a supreme pair of disciples as Sāriputta and Moggallāna are to me. Bhikkhus, those Arahants, Perfectly Enlightened Ones, who will exist in the future age — those Blessed Ones too will have just such a supreme pair of disciples as Sāriputta and Moggallāna are to me.
