[757] This is what Brahmā Sahampati said. Having said this, Brahmā Sahampati further said this: "The seer of the end that is the destruction of birth, compassionate for their welfare, understands the one-way path (ekāyana); by this path they crossed the flood (ogha) in the past, and they will cross it, and they cross it now."
