Mānadinnasutta

[793] The same origin (setting). Now on that occasion the householder Mānadinna was afflicted, suffering, gravely ill. Then the householder Mānadinna addressed a certain man: "Come, good man …" … "Venerable sir, I am not bearing up, I am not getting better; grievous painful feelings (vedanā) are increasing in me, not subsiding; their increase is discerned, not their subsiding."
