Upasamasutta

[891] "Here, bhikkhu, a bhikkhu develops the faculty of faith (saddhindriya), which leads to peace (upasama), which leads to full awakening (sambodha); he develops the faculty of energy (vīriyindriya), which leads to peace, which leads to full awakening; he develops the faculty of mindfulness (satindriya), which leads to peace, which leads to full awakening; he develops the faculty of concentration (samādhindriya), which leads to peace, which leads to full awakening; he develops the faculty of wisdom (paññindriya), which leads to peace, which leads to full awakening. It is to this extent, bhikkhu, that a bhikkhu is accomplished in the faculties."
