[948] Therein, bhikkhus, the equanimity faculty (upekkhindriya) should be seen as neither-painful-nor-pleasant feeling (vedanā). Thus, bhikkhus, these five faculties (indriya), having been five, become three; having been three, they become five — by a method of exposition (pariyāya).
