[111] When it is money (rūpiya), and he perceives it as money, and he exchanges it for money: it is to be relinquished, entailing an offense of pācittiya (nissaggiya pācittiya). When it is money, and he is in doubt, and he exchanges it for money: it is to be relinquished, entailing an offense of pācittiya. When it is money, and he perceives it as non-money, and he exchanges it for money: it is to be relinquished, entailing an offense of pācittiya. When it is non-money, and he perceives it as money, and he exchanges it for money: it is to be relinquished, entailing an offense of pācittiya.
