[308] **Jhāna** means: the first jhāna, the second jhāna, the third jhāna, the fourth jhāna.
**Liberation (vimokkha)** means: the emptiness liberation, the signless liberation, the undirected liberation.
**Concentration (samādhi)** means: emptiness concentration, signless concentration, undirected concentration.
**Attainment (samāpatti)** means: the emptiness attainment, the signless attainment, the undirected attainment.
**Knowledge (ñāṇa)** means: the three true knowledges (vijjā).
**Development of the path (maggabhāvanā)** means: the four establishments of mindfulness (satipaṭṭhāna), the four right strivings (sammappadhāna), the four bases of spiritual power (iddhipāda), the five faculties (indriya), the five powers (bala), the seven factors of awakening (bojjhaṅga), the noble eightfold path.
