[566] There is no offense (anāpatti): if, standing within the monastery, he sees it; if it comes to the place where the bhikkhu is standing, or the place where he is sitting, or the place where he is lying down; if he sees it while going in the opposite direction; if there is such a reason; in emergencies; for one who is mad; for the first offender.
