[609] There is no offence (anāpatti): for one who is ill; when one warms oneself at a fire made by another; when one warms oneself at embers from which the flame has gone out; at a lamp, at a fire, or in a bathhouse (jantāghara), when there is such a reason; in emergencies; for one who is mad; for the first offender (ādikammika).
