[85] There is no offence (anāpatti): if he makes it taking an equal amount of white [wool] and an equal amount of ruddy-brown [wool] (gocariya); if he makes it taking a greater amount of white and a greater amount of ruddy-brown; if he makes it taking pure white and pure ruddy-brown; if he makes a canopy, or a ground-covering, or a screen-wall, or a mattress, or a pillow; if he is mad; if he is the first offender (ādikammika).
