[116] Bhikkhus, I do not perceive even one other thing (dhamma) that leads so much to the stability, non-decline, and non-disappearance of the true Dhamma (saddhamma) as this, bhikkhus: heedfulness (appamāda). Heedfulness, bhikkhus, leads to the stability, non-decline, and non-disappearance of the true Dhamma.
