[146] Bhikkhus, the foremost of my bhikkhu disciples of long standing (rattaññū) is Aññākoṇḍañña.
Of those of great wisdom, it is Sāriputta.
Of those possessed of psychic power (iddhi), it is Mahāmoggallāna.
Of those who are proponents of the ascetic practices (dhutavāda), it is Mahākassapa.
Of those possessing the divine eye (dibbacakkhu), it is Anuruddha.
Of those of high family, it is Bhaddiya, Kāḷigodhā's son.
Of those of sweet voice, it is Lakuṇṭakabhaddiya.
Of those who roar the lion's roar, it is Piṇḍolabhāradvāja.
Of those who are speakers on the Dhamma, it is Puṇṇa Mantāniputta.
Of those who analyze in detail the meaning of what has been stated in brief, it is Mahākaccāna.
