[316] Bhikkhus, there are these two kinds of happiness (sukha). What two? Happiness accompanied by rapture (pīti) and happiness without rapture. These, bhikkhus, are the two kinds of happiness. Of these two kinds of happiness, bhikkhus, this is the foremost: namely, happiness without rapture.
