Ekanipāta

[82] Bhikkhus, of little consequence is this growth, that is, growth in fame. This is the foremost of growths, bhikkhus, that is, growth in wisdom (paññā). Therefore, bhikkhus, you should train yourselves thus: 'We will grow by growth in wisdom.' Thus indeed, bhikkhus, should you train yourselves.
