[258] Bhikkhus, whatever families, having attained greatness in wealth, do not endure long — all of them (fail to endure) on account of four grounds, or on account of one or another of them. What four? They do not seek what has been lost; they do not repair what has become worn out; they are immoderate in drinking and eating; they place an unvirtuous woman or man in authority.
