[295] [24] "Bhikkhus, possessing six qualities a bhikkhu could split apart the Himavant, king of mountains — what need be said of vile ignorance (avijjā)? What six? Here, bhikkhus, a bhikkhu is skilled in the attainment (samāpatti) of concentration (samādhi); he is skilled in the persistence of concentration; he is skilled in emergence from concentration; he is skilled in the fitness (kallatā) of concentration; he is skilled in the resort (gocara) of concentration; he is skilled in the application (abhinīhāra) of concentration. Bhikkhus, possessing these six qualities a bhikkhu could split apart the Himavant, king of mountains — what need be said of vile ignorance?"
