[389] Bhikkhus, having abandoned six things, one is capable of dwelling contemplating the body in the body (kāyānupassanā). What six? Delight in work (kammārāmatā), delight in talk, delight in sleep, delight in company, being unguarded as to the doors of the sense faculties (indriya), and immoderation in eating. Bhikkhus, having abandoned these six things, one is capable of dwelling contemplating the body in the body.
