[25] Bhikkhus, there are these ten kasiṇa bases (kasiṇāyatana). What ten? One person perceives the earth kasiṇa (paṭhavīkasiṇa) — above, below, across, non-dual, immeasurable. One person perceives the water kasiṇa (āpokasiṇa) … One person perceives the fire kasiṇa (tejokasiṇa) … One person perceives the air kasiṇa (vāyokasiṇa) … One person perceives the blue kasiṇa (nīlakasiṇa) … One person perceives the yellow kasiṇa (pītakasiṇa) … One person perceives the red kasiṇa (lohitakasiṇa) … One person perceives the white kasiṇa (odātakasiṇa) … One person perceives the space kasiṇa (ākāsakasiṇa) … One person perceives the consciousness kasiṇa (viññāṇakasiṇa) — above, below, across, non-dual, immeasurable. These, bhikkhus, are the ten kasiṇa bases.
