[252] 5. "You here are left behind by the mountain thick with kuṭaja and sallakī trees,¹ by Nesādaka, the famed mountain, with its canopy [of foliage]." The Elder Mahānāma. ¹ So the Siam edition (bahukuṭajasallarikena); the Burmese and European editions read bahukuṭajasallakikena.
