[423] 4. As great as [the revenue of] the Kāsi country, so great was my fee; taking that as the price, the townsfolk set me at half that price. Then I became disenchanted with form (rūpa), and, disenchanted, I became dispassionate. May I not run on again through the round of births (jātisaṃsāra), again and again! The three true knowledges (vijjā) have been realized; the Buddha's teaching has been fulfilled. Aḍḍhakāsī. [3]
