[1019] "Well gained indeed are the gains of King Janaka, who beholds Senaka of excellent wisdom. Are you one who has rolled back the veil, all-seeing? Is your knowledge (ñāṇa), brahmin, truly awe-inspiring? I have these seven hundred [kahāpaṇas]: take them all — I give them to you; for it is through you that I have gained my life this day, and moreover you have wrought safety for my wife."
