Kukkuṭajātaka

[1425] For indeed one should not trust women or men whose minds (citta) are ever changing, now one thing, now another;² though in many and various ways they openly display intimacy, one should not trust even such a one.³ [Variant notes of the Siam edition: ¹ (anchored in the preceding verse) Sī. and Yu. read *gopipāsakajātikā*; ² Ma. reads *aññaññacittānaṃ*; ³ Ma. reads *ca nāsmase* for *na vissase*.]
