Bilārakosiyajātaka

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 1452

[1452] For some, settled in what is unrighteous, give their gifts after striking, slaying, and causing sorrow; that offering (dakkhiṇā)—tearful-faced and fraught with violence— does not equal the worth of what is righteously given. Thus the thousands who sacrifice by the thousand are not worth even a fraction of one of such a kind. The Biḷārakosiya Jātaka, the twelfth. ____________ 13. The Cakkavāka Jātaka
