[1510] "In the delightful city of the Gandhāra king, in Takkasilā, O king, we dwelt; there, in the darkness, in a mass of gloom, we jostled one another, shoulder against shoulder. Standing right there, the two of us, O lord of men, exchanged cordial, memorable talk on that very spot. That alone was all the meeting we ever had— never afterwards, and never once before."
