[1513] But the wise do not bring to naught their meetings and their intimacies, nor even a service done for them in the past; what is done for the wise, though little, does not perish, for so it is: the wise are by nature truly grateful. I give you five choice villages, a hundred slave-women, seven hundred cattle, and more than a thousand nikkhas of gold; and I give you two wives of like station.
