Ambajātaka

[1734] "Just as one who supposes [the ground] to be even might fall into a pit, a cavern, a chasm, or a hollow of rotten roots; or as one might tread upon a black snake, thinking it a rope; or as a blind man might step upon a fire — even so, O wise one, [knowing that] I have stumbled, bestow the charm (manta) once more upon me, whose charm has been lost."
