Kāliṅgabodhijātaka

[1800] Hearing that, Kāliṅga in haste crossed over to another elephant; and the very moment the king had crossed over, the elephant fell right there to the ground. As was the word of the reader of signs (veyyañjanika), so it was with the elephant.
