Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 1821

[1821] If you would grant me a boon, O Sakka, lord of all beings, then, as night gives way to dawn, at the rising of the sun, may divine food appear, and virtuous beggars; while I am giving, may my store never be exhausted; having given, may I not regret it afterward; while giving, may I gladden my mind (citta) — this boon, O Sakka, I choose.
