Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 2010

[2010] Yellow myrobalan (harītaka), emblic myrobalan (āmalaka), mango, rose-apple, and beleric myrobalan (vibhītaka), breadfruit (labuja), tooth-sticks, bael fruits and jujubes, the fruit of the rājāyatana tree, baskets of sugarcane, smoke-tubes, and honey and eye-salve — wares high and low they sell, O lord of the people. They are the same as traders, O king; yet even they are called brahmins (brāhmaṇā). They have been declared to you, great king: shall we resort to such as these?
