[2026] Now I ask the brahmin (brāhmaṇa) Gotama, honored by the king: the king bestowed upon you food dressed with a sauce of pure meat; yet you, having accepted that food, gave the meal to the seer (isi). You are no knower of the field for gifts — what principle (dhamma) is this of yours? Homage to you!
