Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 2029

[2029] Digging up ālu and kalamba tubers, biḷāli and takkaḷa bulbs, shaking out the millet and wild rice that must be gathered in and threshed; greens, lotus-root, honey, meat, and jujubes and emblic myrobalans — having brought these back, I eat them: that possession (pariggaha) of mine still exists. I who cook, to one who cooks not; I who have belongings, to one for whom nothing is "mine"; I who still grasp, to one without grasping — I am worthy to give food.
